Koh Phi-Phi-Fire Dancer

First Trip to Thailand III – Nightlife in Bangkok, Koh Phi Phi & Phuket

This is the final edited part of my experiences during my first 2 week trip to Thailand in 2012.

Again, this is the trip that ruined my sense of what I previously considered truly living.  No, seriously.

Maybe I am overly dramatic, or maybe I just really enjoy an adventure, more than most average people.   I always have been an adrenaline junkie, to a degree.

Or

This was just the beginning of a mid-life crisis that would force me to question what I was working so hard to obtain back here in the United States.

It caused me to sell almost everything I owned and return to Thailand with a one-way ticket one year later!

This 2 week non-stop roller coaster ride through Thailand has been burned into my psyche and I haven’t been the same ever since.

Here are some random moments where I actually remembered to take out my iPhone and record a little.

These were all taken at night….

….the video highlights many wild nights, from my first night out in Bangkok, with local friends and my last night partying with young film students from Taiwan,  to a neighborhood bar grand opening party in Phuket, and plenty of fire dancing on Kata beach and Koh Phi Phi.

Below are a few of the pics I managed to get at night island hopping with the “Old School Reggae Ambassador” Melissa from Ft. Lauderdale and the “Transient Digital Nomad” Tyson.

Thanks for stopping by and reminiscing with me.
